Privacy Policy
In short: Struga Parking has no accounts and no sign-up. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data about you. Your location is used only on your device and is never transmitted to us or anyone else.
Who operates this app
Struga Parking is developed and operated by EAGLE IT SOLUTIONS D.O.O.E.L. You can reach us at dev@struga.gov.mk.
No account, no profile
The app requires no registration, login, email address, or phone number. We do not create a user profile for you and we have no way to identify you.
Location
When you choose to pay for parking by SMS, the app asks for access to your location. It is used for a single purpose: to check on your device whether you are close enough to the parking area you selected.
This check runs entirely on your phone. Your location is never sent to our servers, never stored, and never shared with third parties. If you decline the permission, the rest of the app continues to work; only the SMS payment button stays disabled.
Data stored on your device
The app saves two things locally, so you do not have to re-enter them:
- the display language you selected
- your licence plate, if you entered one for an SMS payment
Both stay on your device. Neither is transmitted to us. Deleting the app removes them permanently.
Parking information
To show parking locations and free spaces, the app requests publicly available data from our parking service. These requests contain no personal data and no account information. As with any internet service, our provider's servers process technical connection data such as your IP address for the purpose of operating and securing the service.
SMS payments
The app does not process payments and does not send messages on your behalf. When you tap the payment button, your phone's own messaging app opens with a message prepared for you. You decide whether to send it.
Once sent, the message is handled by your mobile operator and by the parking payment provider under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not receive, see, or store the message or any payment details.
Maps and directions
Maps are provided by Apple Maps on iOS and Google Maps on Android. If you tap "Get directions", your device opens the corresponding maps application. From that point the provider's own privacy policy applies.
App updates
The app can receive updates over the air through Expo Application Services. When it checks for an update, Expo receives technical information such as your IP address, device model, and operating system version. This contains nothing that identifies you personally.
What we do not do
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers
- No cookies
- No selling or sharing of data — we hold none to begin with
Children
The app is a general-purpose parking tool and is not directed at children. It collects no personal data from anyone, regardless of age.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, export, or delete. The information stored on your device is under your control and is removed when you delete the app. If you have any question about this, write to dev@struga.gov.mk and we will answer.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts handling data differently, this page will be updated before the change reaches you, and the date at the top will change.
