What the app does
Struga Parking shows the public parking areas in Struga on a map, how many spaces are currently free in each, and the opening hours. You can start navigation to a parking area, and pay for parking by SMS. No account is needed — open the app and it works.
Common questions
The payment button is greyed out
Payment by SMS only becomes available when you are actually at the parking area — within about 75 metres. This prevents payments for the wrong location. Walk closer and the button becomes active. Make sure you allowed location access and that location services are switched on in your phone settings.
Why does the app ask for my location?
Only to check whether you are close to the parking area you selected. The check happens on your phone and your location is never sent anywhere. See our privacy policy.
Nothing happens when I tap "Pay by SMS"
The app opens your phone's messaging app with the message already prepared — you still have to send it yourself. If the messaging app does not open, check that your device has an active SIM card and that SMS is available on your plan.
The number of free spaces looks wrong
Availability is updated by parking staff on site and refreshes automatically every minute while the app is open. During busy periods it can lag behind reality by a few minutes. If a parking area is consistently wrong, please tell us which one.
How do I change the language?
Tap the globe icon in the top right corner of the map. The app is available in Albanian, Macedonian, English, German, and Turkish.
The map stays empty
The app needs an internet connection to load parking data. If you are offline, a notice appears at the top of the screen. Once you are back online the data loads automatically.

The more concrete, the faster we can help. Useful details:
- which phone and which iOS or Android version
- which parking area it concerns
- what you did and what happened instead
- a screenshot, if possible
